Actually, if the community was nice, then I'd probably be a community oriented person myself, and I like "buy local" thinking, although if that's in Bray, it feckin' IS annoying, because who'd want to buy local when there's no free parking - and often not enough pay parking, either, because they made a mess of that town centre parking lot..
Also, I don't bring people together (other than maybe online) as I've nowhere to bring them together at.
I don't take care of my physical appearance, I wear Dunnes cheapo clothes, and I definitely don't stay in shape! (Well, I guess XL is a shape, too, lol..) I just don't really care.
