I had tons of really good Blogthings results, with my comments, but they were all lost when Blogger fucked up and froze on me. I'm not in the mood of doing those tests again right now, so I'll just post this one, which was supposed to be the last (and least important) of them.

Blogger sucks

This stupid fuckin' thing froze on me, and I lost tons of Blogthings results, so now I have to do all those tests again!

I'm sending tons of bad karma, a chronic and painful arse rot, and bleeding piles, to whoever designed this thing.

Hmph.

Introduction - The Astrology of Time

The ancient Maya and Aztec astrologers studied the mysterious influence of the rhythms of the sky on earthly life. Everyone knows the Sun rises and sets every day -- this is the basic rhythm of life around which we set our clocks and calendars. What the ancient astrologers discovered was that other time cycles existed that were multiples of this basic day cycle. This fact was discovered about 100 years ago in Europe and these cycles (there are many of them) are now called biorhythms.
The most important time cycles in ancient Mayan and Aztec astrology are those of the day, 9-days, 13-days, and 20-days. Additionally, years are counted also, in groups of 4 and 13. Each day is then part of several other cycles, so no two days are exactly the same. Your Maya/Aztec horoscope below shows exactly where in each of the cycles you were born. Each category below examines a specific cycle and a specific aspect of your personality. Keep in mind that our personalities are complex and contain many contradictions. All of us present a different "face" depending on who we meet. The delineations below will reflect this, but they will also give you a clear picture of who you really are. The true value of astrology lies in self-knowledge, the first step to wisdom.

Your Most Personal Traits - The Day-Sign of Your Birth

Here are your strongest and most obvious personality traits. The delineation below describes who you are and how you appear to others, at least on the surface. In Aztec astrology this part of is your horoscope is your Tonalli, or Day-Sign, the form bestowed upon you by the Sun.

Water: You have very strong emotions and feelings that are easily aroused. Sometimes these feelings are so deep and so intense that they can take over your personality. You have very strong territorial drives that often operate openly with little conscious resistance. At your worst you may display compulsive and addictive behaviors, including abuse of power, sexual obsessions, drinking, and use of drugs. On the positive level these emotional drives cam lead you into deep commitments and persistence in achieving goals. Whichever way your emotions lead you probably has much to do with your early childhood experiences.
It is very possible that you have psychic abilities, or have an interest in psychic phenomena. Undoubtedly this is something that stems from your unusually strong feelings and reactions to things. Many Water personalities become artists who produce sounds and colors from their souls, not superficial illustrators or imitators. Even if you are not an artist you probably have a vision that you will attempt to realize during the course of your life. Whether psychic, artist or visionary, you are driven by forces that most people have no idea even exist.
You also have a need for recognition that is both a blessing and a curse. If circumstances allow you to exercise this part of your nature legitimately, as a performer or artist, then you are probably very successful. If circumstances work against you, then you could drift into an unrealistic or even potentially dangerous life-style.
You have an uncompromising quality that pushes you toward great success in career matters. You are an extremist and do nothing halfway, yet this is often what it takes to be at the top of a profession. You have a strong, independent mind and are capable, and very willing, to solve your problems by yourself. Although you may have some initial problems handling responsibility, control over your powerful feelings will bring out the leader in you.
You are likely to receive recognition for your accomplishments, whether these be positive or destructive. As you struggle to control, or at least monitor, the nearly uncontrollable urges surging within, you will undoubtedly achieve much. The important thing is that you channel your energies into constructive and productive area.

Your Deeper Self - The 13-Day Week of Your Birth

Each of us reacts to the world around us in different ways. Our reactions are mostly unconscious; they represent what our deeper self needs. Our reactions both attract and repel us from things, people, and situations. What we like, what we like to do, and who we really are is shown by the 13-day week called the Trecena that we were born under. Each of these periods begins with the number 1 and the name of the day-sign that starts it. A number is attached to your position within the 13-day period that may be an important number for you.
This is the first day of the 13-day period beginning with the day 1-Water. Like your surface personality, your inner side is also propelled by powerful, irrational, urges. You may do things in life without a rational explanation -- just because you have to do them. You find it necessary to keep yourself under control much of the time, or you may risk offending others who don't understand you. You should choose your friends very carefully for this reason. You are a person who has and projects great personal power and you may be recognized for your artistic or creative abilities.

Charismatic Periwinkle, etc..

You Are Periwinkle
You're very intuitive and sensitive. You often know other people better than they know themselves.
You're also quite optimistic, and you think well of yourself and others. You know your dreams will come true.

My dreams usually don't, but my visions do - always. So, I'm relying on that.

Your Inner Color is Blue
Your Personality: Your natural warmth and intuition nurtures those around you. You are accepting and always follow your heart.
You in Love: Relationships are your top priority, and this includes love. You are most happy when you are serious with someone.
Your Career: You need to help others in your job to feel satisfied. You would be a great nurse, psychologist, or counselor.

You Are Humor
You love to laugh at life, and if possible, get others to laugh along with you.
You believe there's always a humorous side to everything. And your sense of humor ranges from upbeat to very dark.
You are outrageous and very honest. You're often the only one willing to say what everyone else is thinking.
You are witty and verbally talented. You like to play with words and say things in interesting ways.

Your Hatred of Chocolate Says You're Serious
You are orderly and systematic. You like to have everything in its place.
You have an intense drive to create order and structure. You like to make sense of chaos.
You are a practical person. You're primarily concerned with what works.
You are extremely logical and rational. Your mind is practically like a computer.

I don't hate chocolate, I've just gone off it.. And the test actually listed a few things, asking which of them is my least favourite - NOT which one I hate. I'd actually love to love chocolate again, but for some reason, it almost makes me sick nowadays..

Your Luck Quotient: 46%
You have an average luck quotient.
There's been times when you've been extremely lucky... but also times when you've been very unlucky.
You probably know that you can make your own luck in life, if you're open to it.
So listen to your intuition as much as you can. It's right more often than you might expect.

I'm pretty much the unluckiest person on earth.

You Are a Centaur
In general, you are a very cautious and reserved person.
However, you are also warm hearted, and you enjoy helping others in practical ways.

You Are Grateful and Forgiving
You're good at bringing people together. You are a connector.
You often help others with their problems. You offer practical and workable solutions.
You believe that each day is precious, and you spend your times as best as you can.
It hurts your heart to hold grudges. You rather forgive, forget, and move on.

You Are Freedom Loving
You are laid back and easygoing with people. Too much intensity tires you out.
You believe that there is a lot to still be discovered in this world, and you're hoping to find some of it.
You are blessed with an enormous amount of self-confidence. You love who you are.
Structure and rules bore you. Even worse - they make you feel stifled.

You Are Fired Up
You are bold, adventurous, and even brazen. You feel like the world is your oyster.
You value your time, and you treat it like it's precious. No one is allowed to waste it.
You function well with heavy work loads. You like being and staying productive.
You are direct and to the point. You rather not waste time with small talk.

You Are Diamonds
You may be well liked, but there's nothing bland or ordinary about you. You are dazzling.
You are a networker. You love getting to know people, both in professional and personal contexts.
Friends and family bring meaning to your life. You know who your core group is.
You are versatile and flexible. You can adapt to any situation with grace and style.

You Are Charismatic
You are outgoing, friendly, and a total kick. People enjoy being around you.
You are confident in social situations, even if you don't know a soul.
People are attracted to your bold and daring personality. You're happiest when you're the center of attention.
You have a take-charge, can do attitude. You just put yourself out there - no one intimidates you.

My 40th birthday & The Savage Eye day

The Savage Eye day & my 40th birthday
For starters, thanks to Tally for hosting the funeral of my youth, on Facebook. These first two pictures kind of go with the theme - Donnybrook Church, yesterday morning. I was walking (from Sydney Parade) to deStudio, for yet another extra day on The Savage Eye.

The Savage Eye day & my 40th birthday The Savage Eye day & my 40th birthday
It was about 2km walk, which would have been only 1km, had I taken a bus instead, but I prefer the DART as you can tell exactly when you'll be there (unless there's leaves on the tracks, landslide, flood, earthquake, nuclear war, or alien attack, of course..). Anyway, I thought 2km in the morning and another 2km in the evening, wouldn't be that bad. I meant to wear my hiking boots, too, but I'd have needed to change them later, so I decided to just wear the smaller shoes, which are not brilliant for walking so much, though..

The Savage Eye day & my 40th birthday The Savage Eye day & my 40th birthday
I had no trouble finding the place - it's so easy, nowadays, with Google maps / street view, Bing maps / bird's eye view, etc.. Also, the route looked much longer on the map, so I ended up being there quite early. It was a nice morning walk as well, through that beautiful (and posh) area..

This wasn't our entrance, but this looked better for a picture, lol..

The Savage Eye day & my 40th birthday
We had this lovely room with the lovely soft lights - they only switched on the bright lights later, when the coffee & snacks were set up..

There were loads of amazing books - I could have gladly stayed in that room for a month, just reading! LOL..

Nice room, comfy seats, coffee / tea, snack trays, good books.. Not bad!

I want to make stone mosaics!

However, it turned out that they didn't actually need us until later, so we all got money for lunch, and a looong lunch break. I decided to come home - thanks to S for the lift to Sydney Parade (saving me from walking that 2km) - which was really a waste of time and effort as we'd no food, so I ended up having a little bit of rye bread, and then it was time to go back.

I was starving as I arrived back from the lunch break, but the snack trays were there, so I was living on Nature Valley maple syrup bars & bananas. My tummy was shouting abuse, and I was just hoping that it'd shut up during the shoot :o (It did. My tummy is a pro.)

They had to be done at 7pm, which left us just an hour to shoot the audience part = us extras. We did reactions to 'Pat Kenny'.... *cough*.... I can't wait to see the one where a bully is confronted. Just wondering if they'll leave a certain word in, or not! =D And I might never want to hear Black Betty again =)

Finally, my third time to walk those 2km, and the DART back to Bray.. So, I walked about 7-8km, yesterday, in shoes that are not great for walking much.. I could totally feel it, too! My feet are still sore :o

I had my two Olvi Mojito Lonkeros in the fridge (thanks to J who posted them from Finland!!), so I had my private birthday party in the attic as I read all the birthday greetings on Facebook.

I have never looked for love as it would be a total waste of time. It happens if it's meant to happen, and usually always when you're not looking for it. Besides, love can be very painful, so you'd be an idiot deliberately looking for it.

You are emotional. You have a big heart, and you tend to go for comfort foods.

THE funniest extra day, EVER =D

The Savage Eye day in Bray The Savage Eye day in Bray
I was an extra on The Savage Eye again, today - this time, here in Bray. My face is sore from all the laughter.. We did three sketches. In the first one, we were at my father's wake (as in, I was supposed to be the dead man's daughter, so I was crying my eyes out), and it got really shocking.. LOL.. Try crying your eyes out when something uber-hilarious is happening right in front of you! =D Then, there was the 1950's farmers social.......
