My hair was kind of messy, which gave me an idea for some fake vintage snaps, in 40's style.. I've only uploaded one, but with different versions.. Above, the sepia and b&w vintage, and below, the "original" version.

I'd rather have been a nanosecond blur here, because this was my absolute favourite - the magical fake village @ Kilruddery woods.. You can see a little bit of a campfire on the right.. Myself and a few other extras were sitting around that, but at this point we'd have ran off already, so we'd have been hiding in the shadows of that hut, on top right.. I had really bad chest infection, and it was really difficult not to cough, but I had a life-saving lollipop up my sleeve.


I totally loved seeing Camelot (as in, the castle) like in these screenshots, above and below.. Everything above the top arches is fake, but you'd never notice.

I just saw the first episode of Camelot

Awesome.. =D Watch it here (requires free registration). I downloaded the episode with RealPlayer, so I can watch it again - especially the bits where I was an extra, heh.. For example, one of my favourite times was the village at night scene, which was on the first episode. It was really magical to be there, and it looks great in the episode as well.

I'm with my vintage filter again

I made more misery pics, with my vintage filter. Then I piled them up for a wallpaper, but I've rain-dropped the text as it was just something to do handwriting on the tablet, and I'm NOT happy with the results. I have to get used to writing on it, to get my handwriting more natural.. I'm not happy with the note paper, either. It was a handy .png I found with google, but I should have worked on the colours a bit more. Also, those photos should really have tiny shadows as now they just look too flat = virtual..

Welcome to my dreams

Some of my photos could be straight from my dreams, although my dream places don't really exist anywhere else than in my dreams. I'd love to have pictures of my liquid planet, and the giant trees with empty houses, etc...

 
These two (above) remind me of Mind Tower - the story that has come to me in a few dreams, over the years.. I still haven't dreamed the end for it.

My old Polyvore stuff

I was browsing through my FB apps, and noticed that the Polyvore application was no longer available, so I logged on to their website instead, to check out my old stuff there. This is the only one that wasn't too 'girly'..

Vintage grief, etc.

There's a certain vintage filter on Slide, which I've always loved. I've used it on some of my slideshows, dreaming of having it available as a layer to be used on my offline projects.. But, since it's not available, I thought I'd have a go at making my own vintage layer. I started by taking some webcam snaps with the ManyCam sepia setting (and Logitech Fusion camera) - to suit the sepia tone and vintage filter, I made some expressions of grief..

 
Above, the first picture is straight from the webcam, and the second picture is the final version where I've created fake focus by blurring the background, and then added my homemade vintage layer. Considering it's just a bunch of webcam snaps, and the editing (incl. filter creation) only took some minutes, I'm pretty pleased with the results. Must try if that filter layer works with better pics, like landscapes or such..
