Saturday afternoon on the Seafront (rainy / sunny / rainy / sunny...)
I was on the Seafront twice, yesterday. First, to check out the Food & Craft Market, and later for the Rattle and Hum gig (there'll be a separate entry about that, with pics and video). The weather was all over the place.. Rainy, sunny, rainy, sunny, rainy AND sunny, etc..
It was funny how instantly people seemed to disappear when it started raining, and then appear again when the sun came out!
I gave these little creatures some summer saturation - the original pics are on flickr as well, just click on these and see the next or previous photo..
I did some shopping at Candyland, later, but first I got a small hotdog from that other place (above). The big hotdog sausages actually looked much, much nicer, but I wasn't hungry enough to manage a full one, and I don't want to throw away food, so I got a small one. It was OK.
Below, how the weather changed during my hotdog break..
Then I had a latte and snapped some pics of the sweets I'd just bought.. €6.80 jar of sweets, and I ate them all last night as I was uploading the gig pics.. Well, that huge chewing gum ball is still left, and I've no idea how to approach it :o
Dalkey Island looked extra sharp;
Below, see the colour of the sky and sea, in both sides of the hut.. =D
Then I witnessed a pink balloon escaping;
Someone tried to catch it, but it had already made it too far..
(Luckily, no one seemed to be crying, so maybe it wasn't the end of the world..)
It was this sunny when I walked home;
