My Bray Air Show pictures, finally..
OK, so, it took me a while to get all my air show pictures uploaded.. I blame the stupid people; Most people had arrived on Bray Seafront in good time, before the air show. We'd all found a good spot, sat down, gotten our cameras ready.. And that's when the ignorant cunts arrived, as they do, year after year.. They are those last minute eejits who seem to think that everyone else is there to observe them and whatever fashions they may be wearing, etc. Just when you're ready to take some good pictures of the planes, some feckin' elvis will come and stand in front of you, and you're lucky if you can even SEE the plane. This, of course, will force most other people to get up and stand as well, but I didn't, because I didn't want to block anyone else's view, even if it meant that I missed some fantastic photos I could have taken.. (If anyone wants to browse ALL air show photos, click on the first picture and continue on flickr..)
According to the news, there were 80.000 people on the Seafront, following the air show. No wonder it felt like being a sardine in a tin..
Above, the helicopter whose practice I followed on the previous day.. It sprayed us with sea water =)
Below, a video I found via Facebook - it's featuring that particular flight, and in the beginning and end, you can see Newcastle Airfield as well. I've blogged some pictures of Newcastle beach, before, and that's just next to the airfield. You can also see Greystones on the video.
