Vintage cars and (yet another) world record

I'd listed myself as Maybe attending the Bray Gardaí World Record Attempt 2011 (where loads of people were to simultaneously polish a garda car for one minute), which was to take place after the Jupe gig. (I have to admit that it reminded me of some Finnish stuff, such as wife carrying, mobile tossing, etc..)

It was still raining, and it wasn't looking very promising.. I decided to stay around, and had a chance to check out some vintage cars before they all left.

The pictures are not so good.. I was trying to use my left hand to protect the camera from the rain..

Bray Gardai World Record Attempt 2011 - before free fun fair tickets were mentioned..
Eventually, I went back to the World Record spot where the situation was as seen in the picture above.. Then, the Summerfest people mentioned free fun fair tickets to those who'd participate, and suddenly the situation was as seen in the picture below.. =D We broke the world record, with 100 people simultaneously polishing a garda car for one minute! (This was the second world record I witnessed, within a week.. See my Tinahely Show entry about the first one.)
