How many found bodies don't appear in the news?

I got these photos on Friday, while this stuff was taking place, in Bray harbour. (The source wishes to stay anonymous, but has given me permission to blog the pics - also, the photos are all from public places, so there's no legal issue as to why not to share them.)

Apparently, a body was found in the Dargle..

I have been checking the news, but there hasn't been any word about this, which I find strange. After all, I got these photos at 1pm on Friday, and it's now late Monday evening.

Later on, I heard some rumours about the identity of the body, but those have since turned out to be untrue - and obviously, I wouldn't have blogged anything like that, anyway, because there probably would be a legal issue, and it'd be sort of disrespectful as well.

I don't know if they've even officially identified the body yet, but shouldn't be too difficult, in the age of CCTV around stations and all. Looks like a very sad end to someone's life, anyway.

So far, this is the only thing I've seen in any news - this is in tomorrow's Wicklow Times, p.3. Not much!

Makes you wonder, how many found bodies don't appear in the news, and why?
