Easter Sunday (31st March) in Helsinki..

 
Big breakfast again..

 

 
I'd never had a macaroon before. I tried one of those green ones, and it was pretty much how I'd imagined it to be. Not really my thing. I could happily live the rest of my life without having another one. They look pretty, though.

   



 



 



 



 
My mam made an apple tart, and another savoury salmon tart.. Mmmmm..


These kids looked so bright, with their green coats =D

 
I don't think I'd had any alcohol since Christmas / New Year, but I enjoyed some bubbly and other vino, during this trip. We had this stuff with the Easter lamb.

 

 



  


Starting from the top, clockwise; salad, small roast potatoes with herbs, fried chanterelles & onions with cream, lamb, gherkins, and in the middle, baked sweet potato & carrot dish.


Dessert.. More cake (mmmmmmm..), and that macaroon I mentioned.
