Via: Commander Chris Hadfield ends ISS mission with Space Oddity rendition

Commander Chris Hadfield has signed off from the International Space Station (ISS) with his own rendition of David Bowie’s Space Oddity.

The Canadian astronaut posted his version of the classic song on YouTube as he prepared to hand over command to Russia’s Pavel Vinogradov, in what could be the first-ever music video shot in space.

Cmdr Hadfield has spent the last five months orbiting the Earth on the ISS, managing to juggle his day-to-day responsibilities with becoming a social media star.
