Selling my Chinese jewellery box on eBay

I think I've blogged (/ranted) about my past problems on attempting to list an item for sale on eBay.ie - the site kept throwing me to the .com version, where I couldn't proceed as my Irish phone number wasn't accepted for verification..

Well, I tried it a few times, over the years, and always had the same problem, but for some reason, when I tried again tonight, IT WORKED! =D Phew, thank God..

I put my Chinese jewellery box up for sale - feel free to make a bid (or share the listing). I would love to keep it as it's beautiful and I love it, but I really don't have anywhere to display it, and it's been in a storage box all these years, which is such a shame for such a pretty item.. And since I have way too much stuff, and I need some money, eBay seems like a good idea. I'm a bit nervous, though, with this being my first item there! Stressing about postage fees and all.. (I kept googling for tips while filling in the item form..)

Variations of that perfect bread

I'm still into making bread (basic recipe & pimping it) - so much so, that I don't really buy bread anymore. I usually make two different loaves at the same time, and freeze some.

This time, I added about half a bag of LIDL mixed seeds to the dough, and found my new favourite! Really, really nice!

The bag on the left is what I used.. Sunflower and pumpkin seeds, and pine nuts.

I also bought a bag of mixed nuts with sultanas. I was thinking of adding those, and maybe some cinnamon, to the basic dough. Not sure if it's going to work or not, but can't wait to try and see!

Screenies from Met Éireann website.. I don't think I've ever seen a status red before :o Of course, I'll be collecting a friend's daughter from school today - by walking.. I don't mind myself getting soaked (if it happens to shower when we walk home), but she'd have to be in damp clothes until her mam collects her. Must sit her near the radiator and give her my hotwater bottle, if necessary.

January briefly;
Thatsit spent over two weeks at Brayvet, getting weekend breaks at home.. Eventually, her leg sores started getting better! I was skint (as usual), couldn't afford my annual Moleskine =( started making my own bread, etc.. Jen sent a nice photo coaster she'd made.. I made crochet bags.. I got donation food for the outdoor cats.. I spent lots of time in the living room, watching Thatsit who's not allowed to move much yet, until the back legs are good enough for padded sock tubes.
