As I've already mentioned on Facebook, it was not good news, about
Oimo.. He has a tumour, and his kidneys have started failing, so there's nothing that can be done to make him better.. He got pain medication, but he has only days or weeks left.. I think it's probably days, rather than weeks.. This is really heartbreaking as I can't even begin to imagine my world without Oimo in it..
So sorry to read this. You have shared 14 lovely years together and she will always live in your memories. A big, warm hug (also here) to both of you.
ReplyDeleteThanks. We talked about the funeral arrangements.. It seems that he will have a final resting place in one of the flower beds - deep enough so he won't ever be disturbed by gardening.. It's a place that was always familiar to him, so he'll stay at the home he knew. I'm collecting some things for him, and I'm going to wrap him in the IKEA blanket that's been with me pretty much everywhere since I bought it.. He loves that blanket, and when he's on my lap, he usually kneads it.. So, he'll get to sleep forever, wrapped in Mama's blanket..
