Phlegm, anyone?
I'm still suffering from diarrhea of the nose (not to mention the monsters I'm coughing up, these days, eh!), and we're totally running out of tissues (we already ran out of tea, bread, salmon, etc..). Thatsit has also discovered the joy of chewing on cables, especially when she wants my attention - which she wants all the time, even when I'm trying to sleep. Last night, she kept waking me up by puking on various spots around a chair, chewing on the Christmas lights cable, and attempting to puke on my camera. I wish she'd just follow her brother's example and land herself on my lap, whenever she wants cuddles.

Happy Christmas
I felt more Christmassy before Christmas as now I have chest infection (again!) and snot diarrhea of the nose, so I can't enjoy the berry scented nightlights, the incence, etc., and I've no energy =/ BUT, at least I can still enjoy all the lovely food (not forgetting the vino..)
I woke up sometime after 6am, and I've been up ever since. I was watching telly in the living room, drinking Lemsip, tea and coffee (separately, mind..), and having smoked salmon on brown bread, and a gorgeous orange.

Busy, busy, busy...
I've been so busy wrapping pressies, Christmas shopping, cleaning, etc., that I haven't had the time to blog much..
Today, I've spent most of the day cleaning the kitchen, and I'm going to continue on that now. Looks like hoovering will have to wait until tomorrow! Oh, and there are still pressies to be wrapped!
Btw, our Christmas parcel was posted in time, but hasn't made it to its destination yet! I'm really hoping that it'll be there tomorrow, because it will ruin my Christmas, if my parents won't get their pressies in time. The receipt would have had the tracking code, but D50 managed to lose it, so now I've no idea where the parcel is, at the moment, and if it happens to get lost, I can't even ask the post to try and track it as I've no receipt. Fucking nice.

Feeling all Christmassy
Today's TV listings are in the RTE Guide Christmas issue, which means that the season has officially arrived. (Yes, I know how lame that sounds.. Lol..)
I started with The Indian in the Cupboard, missing the first 10-15 minutes, but I'd already seen it, so it wasn't the end of the world.. I love the idea of the movie (tiny toys coming alive, building a miniature hut..), but I always get angered by those selfish little boys, and the rat ball makes me want to mutilate any human who's in any way involved in mistreating a pet like that (if you haven't seen this movie, don't comment on this bit as you've no idea of what I'm talking about).
Then, I watched Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. I'd seen the first Scooby-Doo film, and although I don't remember much about it, I do remember that it was very funny, and Scooby-Doo and Shaggy were brilliant.. So, I watched the sequel, and it was also hilarious =D
After that, I watched the last minutes of Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and right now, I'm watching Deck the Halls.

Simon's Cat - Snow Business (part 1)
I love Simon's Cat videos! (Pssst, who wants to give me the book for Christmas?? Anyone??) =P
Btw, the video size is a bit too small here, so you might want to watch it on youtube (direct link).
Car launch, 4th parcel, and a pre-Christmas party
I must have pigsbacked myself to some list as I received an invite to last Saturday's Opel Astra launch. We'd no other plans, so we went to check it out. They had face painting and Santa as well! :o LOL..
We actually ended up ogling at a BMW city bike (I didn't know that they do bicycles! Recession BMW?) and a nice Mazda Promise, which looked a bit retro, although you can't really see it in the pictures.
My mam broke her previous record, and sent us FOUR Christmas parcels, this year! :O The last one arrived on Saturday, and included a bag of Taffel cheesy poofs! =D You can get similar stuff in Ireland, but they don't taste nice at all.. So, occasionally, I really miss the Finnish version, and it was lovely to get some! Having already munched it all, though, I don't think I'll be missing any for a good while.. LOL..
More Christmas pressies, etc..
Must get some more Christmas wrap..
These small plastic angels were bought for my late dad, when he was a child.
Later in the evening, we went to J&E's (Stepaside) for a little pre-Christmas party.
Friday parcel & vintage Yamaha
Mam sent me lots of Finnish rye bread, mmmmm.. I've put some in the freezer, so I'll have rye bread for Christmas. It's especially nice to dip some in the hot fat that'll come out of the Christmas ham while we bake it, Finnish style..
On Friday evening, we went out to see a vintage bike..

This year's Christmas parcel business is sorted now, but I still don't have stamps for the cards. Must try and get them posted tomorrow or on Monday..
Parcels were coming in and going out, yesterday.. =)
